Are You Willing to Stand for Truth, if it Makes You Stand Out?

I don’t watch UFC, Boxing, Wrestling or anything along those lines, and never will… 😁 However, there was such an interesting occurrence this weekend, that I wanted to share it with those of you who may have not heard about it.

This man holding a bible, is Bryce Mitchell from Arkansas. When he was being introduced prior to the fight, he held up his Bible and yelled, FREEDOM! (the commentator said that it was the first time that a Bible has been brought into the Octagon. My guess, they won’t let him do it again…)

After the fight which he won, he rebuked satan, said the fires in Hawaii weren’t natural and asked Dan Ige to pray with him over the nations. They took the mic away, but they both knelt in the middle of the Octagon and prayed for everyone watching to see.

Recently, we have all seen examples of entertainers using the stage to pledge their allegiance to the enemy, whether it be overtly or covertly.

Bryce took his moment to exuberantly pledge allegiance to God and to drop some truth bombs. 💣💣

You and I, we are not of this world. But can the world tell the difference? Do we stand for truth, even though it will make us stand out?

Now, we don’t need to go around yelling freedom, 😄 but we are asked to spread truth, to stand for truth and to bare fruit (they will know us by our fruit…)

Will you spread truth with me? Romans 10:15
