Iron Sharpens Iron

March 27 – Proverbs 27 | This is the verse that struck me today in Proverbs 27:17 amp: As iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens [ and influences] another [through discussion]

It is very important who your friends are and who you surround yourself with! Do you have that friend / mentor that you can talk with? Who influences and helps keep you sharp by their wisdom and insight? This is very important for your growth

Do you have that friend group who influences you in the opposite direction – meaning they always have negative opinions and focus on the bad instead of the good in their lives and the glass is always half empty instead of half full – perhaps they also always see themselves as the victim and miss all the opportunities? (limit your time with these people – seriously )

Seek out people and friends who are smarter than you, more accomplished than you, who are actively seeking growth in the same areas in which you would like to grow (even when it’s uncomfortable) and you will see yourself flourish and grow!

Another helpful key for growth is to find an accountability partner and help each other keep on track

Iron sharpens Iron – sounds uncomfortable – growth is uncomfortable – but it is so much easier when you surround yourself with the right people!
