Do You Have Joy?

WHEN YOU ARE FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, ONE OF THE WAYS HE MANIFESTS IS BY FILLING YOU WITH JOY!

About 6 months or so ago, I was on a group Zoom call.

One of the assistant hosts, had a serious case of the giggles and emotion during the call that she wasn’t able to contain.

The feeling of the presence of the Spirit built though out the call and she was the catalyst.

At one point she was leading in prayer and I was shown that there were angels present – when I popped my eyes open, I fully expected to see them – I didn’t, but I could feel their presence – her joy had brought them!

I think sometimes we miss the forest for the trees. We seek after tangible, earthly things to make us happy and they can for a moment, but it is not a lasting fulfilment.

Isaiah 55:1-2 Says,

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?

You find Joy and fulfilment in the Lord, when you seek Him first – The Kingdom of the Lord is Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit.

Even in these uncertain times, there CAN be Joy – you’ll find it at His feet…
