You Are Worthy of Your Hire!

Have you ever been made to feel like or told that you shouldn’t charge for your services, or charge next to nothing because you are a Christian?

I once had someone send me the following bible verses, because she was mad that I had the nerve to charge for one of my services – the verses in question? Matthew 21:12-13 (I’ll let you look it up)

Here is what the Bible has to say about it in 1 Timothy 5:17-18: The elders / teachers / preachers / leaders / etc. who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of DOUBLE honor, ESPECIALLY those whose work is PREACHING and TEACHING. For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker DESERVES his wages.”

LISTEN TO ME WARRIOR LEADERS – You have expended your time, energy and effort. You have prepared well, you have expertise and experience – YOU ARE WORTHY OF YOUR HIRE!

This is also a warfare tactic against you to get you to quit, just so you know…

God does not expect His people to starve to death just to prove you are a good Christian!

So lift your head, be confident in your worth and value and charge for the services, or products you offer and continue to advance the Kingdom!

To be noted: Are there smarmy individuals out there in the ministry charging for things they shouldn’t be, making the rest of us look bad, and helping to cause this mindset? Of course there are, but that’s not the context of this message and that’s not you!
